Things that worry me; how can I stop these glitches from ever happening?

Here’s my full message: I’m pretty worried about these small details in RTTS 26, last year someone made a comment about this
This is what the person in the comment I’m talking about said:
“The part I hate and find confusing is the opposing team doesn't score, and the following half the inning they've magically been gifted a bunch of runs. No opposing team at bats, but they score runs between innings. Top 4, they get runners on base but don't score. Bottom 4 they're suddenly leading by 5. WTF? Happens quite often, it's not just a singular occurrence.” he claimed that the opposing team was getting gifted runs in between innings, he said he uses the sim to next appearance option and I use the show sim screen option, little details like that kinda bother me, so with my show sim screen setting, how can I stop these 2 glitches from happening? For example, I played against the Nationals and lost 4-5 in extra innings, but for some reason, when I go to the box score, it says the nationals have got 4 RBIs instead of 5, I know that teams can still score without a player getting a rbi, but still. Moving on to the stuff about baserunners disappearing, I know it’s been a glitch, I dont play base running situations and again, I use show sim screen, but the reason I’m asking this is because small things like these just worry me. I have a career at 3B and another career of a two-way player. Sorry that this post was long. I really don’t want the post to just get auto removed because the auto mod keeps removing my posts here

I feel like later, that I might worry a previous game I played a while ago actually had a runner disappear or a team have runs gifted like how I explained above

Two things I would like to add:

    1. On the game log it says at the end of every inning how many runners were left on, the baserunners on the screen when simulating through the game have base icons next to their name to represent what base they were on, sometimes, after the final out of a inning, the base icons disappear, and it’s worrying me that the baserunners are actually disappearing when that happens.

    2. can baserunners still disappear and can teams still magically get runs in between innings even when I’m pitching and it transitions from me pitching to me batting and vice versa?

    @hellothere66506_xbl

I never saw this happen until last night. I was 2nd baseman on the Patriots playing the Fighten Phils. I was on second base bottom 4th and yes it did happen. I had a fielding opportunity on the lead off hitter in the top of inning 5, score in the bottom 4 was 0-4. Top 5th lead off hitter count 2-1, score was 5-4?? I was like what tge, that never happened before or at least I never noticed.

Do you use sim to next appearance or show sim screen?
Also was it 2 outs during the situation you played in the bottom of the 4th?
Did you also check the game log?

I was standing on 2nd base in the 4 and surprise surprise the guy behind me with an average .331 struck out. Just like every time when you’re on base they strike out more than 85% of the time no matter how many outs. This has been an issue for the last 6-7 years.

When I looked in the log there was nothing there. After the game ended I returned to the main menu without saving and reloaded.

So runs magically appeared? Do you also use sim to next appearance without the sim screen?

I do use sim to next appearance during games but didn’t this time. I just finished the game, exited and reload to play again.

I’ve noticed this several times, after the first few times I checked the game log, nothing obvious in there - but in one case only one out in an entire half inning for example, with a hit and a walk.

So I viewed the captured gameplay. Turns out runners caught stealing aren’t always shown in the game log and barely shown in the sim screen. The sim audio is all messed up - a lot of plays don’t have sound effects play.

I check the game log again and notice one of the runners which was unaccounted for in the sim was thrown out 9-2 on a hit, but it didn’t say in the log he was out. It just had Smith hit to right for a single (9-2).

I also have experienced my RTTS player having a plate appearance simmed in the sim screen for no reason. That was in college. I hope that doesn’t continue into pro ball.

@red_ted_is_back_psn you mean the gifted runs in between innings or the disappearing baserunners? If the later, do you use the action pitches option? Cause that means it skips to a count like say 3-1, I believe that’s the root cause of baserunners disappearing because the pitcher could have picked him off in the midst of the at bat and not get an out called

@HelloThere66506_XBL sorry I should have clarified. Disappearing baserunners. So in my example the game had legit reasons (thrown out, CS) but it just didn’t communicate it very well.

I’ve yet to see gifted runs, but haven’t looked for it.
