Bring Back Instant Trades!
-
I really miss Instant Trades and the Interest Meter. Not everyone wants to wait multiple days to see if a trade is accepted. I enjoyed making trades with several teams before the season starts, in order to get my team to where I want, before Opening Day. It's not possible to do that anymore and it's disappointing.
It's taken me the entire season just to get a trade to go through. This new Trade Hub is broken - just give us the option to go back to the original way to Trade.

Agreed. I'm certain IRL there are trade negotiations that take several days of back and forth ...
but if I offer some 20 y/o superstar for a bucket of batting practice balls and a couple used bats, GMs would be jumping all over that before I could finish the call.
Not every trade needs days to complete.

I actually don't mind it so far, it's more realistic. My only complaint would be to get actual real feedback on why the trade didn't go through from the other team, it's too vague right now. Maybe a better way to do this would be an interactive communication with the opposing team. Allow me to ask them about a specific players in the trade offer to understand if they even want them or if they are the reason why the trade is getting held up, etc. etc. etc.
If you want the "instant trade" kind of feel, you can always send out an offer, create a save point, sim ahead to get the feedback, reload the save and try again. Kinda lame and not in the spirit of the game, but if you want 50 trades to happen within a day, to each his own.
I also don't necessarily like the black-and-white untradable players idea. Everyone is tradeable for the right price. Maybe another example of when an interactive conversation with the opposing GM might prove useful. Let me talk them into it haha. I've been waiting for Trey Yesavage or Connelly Early to be available for 3 seasons but they're both on lockdown and at this point they haven't grown at all and my team is gonna be worse if I trade for them. Counter point though, who is realistically trading their $800k per year restricted star pitchers in real life? IDK, now I'm torn on this entire thing...

Didn't the A's just do that with Miller?

@KennyK73_PSN Not a fan of untouchable players either. Or, at least, not as many as there are. I do think it should be difficult to trade for stars but not impossible. 20 untouchable players per team is pretty crazy. There’s no way any team IRL would refuse to take offers for 20 players. Maybe 2-3 max??

I like the new trade system but it should still have an on/off toggle for instant trades.
-
I have thought about this
And this trade logic could work
But there has to be better and more counter offers -
While we’re at it, how about we don’t have teams send 4 big leaguers one way to receive 2 prospects in return, or whatever.
That never happens.
-
I wouldn't mind it if there was a counter offer or some communication but this is strange.

You can get an instant trade if you control all 30 teams and switch over to the team you're offering the trade to. Once you do, just push accept.

No thank-you, I hate 30 team control.

Not the same as it was.
