Sds wtf are you waiting for? Revert the hitting back!
-
Good squared up means squat now on the higher difficulty now unless you have a god squad and even then the results of good feed back is trash. You can [censored] on the ball way more than your opponent and still lose to a bloop and a blast more than any other year! All you you have to do is watch a high level player like McGunski to see how trash the hitting is now? Why the hell has sds not reverted the patch by now? I’m real close to being done with this no reward for good pci placement good/okay bs game.

I just don't understand why they purposefully make hitting, and by extension the game itself, significantly worse after the first week. They did the exact same thing last year.
I understand balancing DD later in the year to account for all-99 squads (though I don't agree with it), but why change it literally days after the full release? It was so good most people were able to look past the significant problems with pitching and fielding.
Could it be that the game was simply playing too well and they were afraid people wouldn't get frustrated enough with their current cards to purchase stubs/upgrade cards?

Google “player churn rate” or “player retention rate.”
It all comes down to $$$$ my friend.
They need to keep the bad players around.

The bad players enjoyed hitting the first week though...

If you can’t see it, You must be a developer or developer’s kid.
Ever been to Vegas or worked a slot machine? The big guys don’t make their money with players who have skill.
If bad players consistently get their butts handed to them & they have no chance of winning in this game, they will give up on the game or play something else.
Bad players are a majority of SDS player base. They admitted it in a prior Twitch stream. They need to appease to the majority player base.
Now you toss in a few RNG wins and confidence. Their pockets open up.
Then why do you think they purposefully ruin hitting?
-
Bad players arent getting gifted wins, they're striking out 23 times in a 9 inning game. They're not playing events at all. They're about to quit playing altogether if they havent already.
SDS already told you why they patched hitting. Averages were too high and they want numbers to look realistic. Right or wrong, believe them or not, that comes straight from them.
-
Correct, averages where too high in ranked seasons, when 90% of the community was still playing on Veteran and all-star. That data analysis was just a bit shy of genius level....

I mean, I'm not defending them, but to say they made hitting way harder to help bad players is pretty tin foil hattish.

It's pretty logical, actually. They didn't just make it harder, they made outcomes a lot more random as well. End result is lower scoring games where the lesser player stays competitive longer and will win more games they shouldn't due to late-game shenanigans, bugs, RNG, etc.
-
Except they made pitch speeds too fast even in all star and made the pci tiny on HoF, which I can assure you doesnt help bad hitters.
-
Something has to be done soon, the games no fun to play in its current state. Fielding is miserable, timing windows messed up, I can turn sliders all the way up in practice and hit fine but be late in all star certain games. Good/okay I’m centered up pci but early okay’s are hit for more home runs.

100% correct!

I think we found Ramone’s account!

Do you honestly think the guy that just struck out 20 times and lost is psyched cause one of his 3 hits was a home run on ok contact?
-
This is the greatest and best game ever made. There are no flaws.
-
What, there's tons of flaws. Stop being disingenuous. There's enough flaws in fact that you dont have to make up tin foil that conspiracy theories.

There isn’t a single flaw in this game.

Do you think the guy in Vegas that lost $100,000 to gambling is psyched?
No, but why does he keep coming back for more?
You will never understand until you stop this “SDS can do no wrong” mentality and open your eyes. You can’t believe everything SDS tells you.

I'm an bad to average player. I'm trying close to my breaking point. I had fun last year with my barely above 500 record. Not having much fun at all so far this year.
