runner advance different in moments vs game play

Why are the runner advance and retreat buttons different in Daily Moments than in the rest of the game? In Moments I have to press R1 to advance the runner to the next base but in every other aspect of the game I press L1 to advance. Is this a bug or intended?what is the point of giving feedback in the game support if you are directed to the forums and nothing happens.

It is because moments are played more like RTTS and I believe RTTS has the other controls? I always forget or have to re-remind myself when doing a moment that requires a double

Yes I believe there was an option to change those in settings to be more like what you want. Someone wrote on here last year about it. Was gonna change and try it also.

If doesn’t work you can re map the controller from system menu just for those moments needed then change back.
