Why is the cpu on rookie difficulty so hard to hit against like I feel I’m playing on goat difficulty

@Taz0828_NSW try veteran that’s what I’m playing and I’ve noticed perfect perfects are up this year. Just had two in a row even.

Rookie means less pitcher control which means more pitches out of the zone and when you swing at balls out of the zone they are less likely to be well struck. Either wait for good pitches to hit on rookie or try one of the other levels which will have more pitches thrown in zone.

And I like the bear down pitching against computer when need that crucial out. Feel like I’m OP over them and looks cool from Pitcher offset view.

I’m getting more walks on Rookie so the pitchers are a bit wilder this season so far. Once I started waiting for better pitches, I started getting a lot of hits and runs. Also advise turning wind off against CPU in the settings, which is apparently a thing this year for offline play. I’ve never noticed that setting in previous years.

Is it because you aren't playing with all 99's?
