Perhaps with the new menu setup a beta would have been advised

The lag in menus has literally never been this bad. I have a feeling it has to do with how all the menu options are effectively on the same “page” in the app. When incorporating this large of a change, one would have thought a stress test beta would have been in order.
In the future I think the dev tourney (live) should be played full release night from everyone’s home (ie not office LAN). That would be entertaining.

Stress test? Nah, it's way more exciting to surprise everybody with a very non-user friendly interface without a good tutorial on where stuff went that we have been used too for years. Sometimes (MOST OF THE TIME) it's best not to hold back so much stuff as a surprise to the paying userbase. They clearly don't play on the current patched full version of the game at all before launch otherwise anybody at the studio with half of a brain could have seen how bad this was running (and should have been caught months ago).

It just seems like too much. Too ambitious.
A radical, and unnecessary change, imo.
I wish a survey on it could be released to see how the masses feel about the change.
Too bad things can't go as fast as this song!

Dude, hate to break the harsh truth to you, but YOU are the beta team! Worse, you can report the bug till the cows comes home and the odds of SDS fixing the issue is less than 50-50.

Made me lol. So true.
Early Access really means 'crash test dummy' for early access to test for SDS
️
That rhymes, btw.
