Good purchase?

I am actually pleasantly surprised with this new edition. Gameplay is remarkably better than last year IMO.
I'm actually going into this year with a gameplay to complete LS NMS in 2-3 months. We will see how it goes I have already sold off all my duplicates, and non LS diamonds except for my last ride Chipper, I'll sell him as soon as I get another 3B. That will be my focus the next 3 months. Cycling/grinding conquest and mini seasons particularly WBC ones. I am actually excited and glad I broke down and bought this game.
If anyone else out there has a strategy or pointers to share on completing LS NMS, I'd like to lhear them.

My copy of the game should be delivered today. I just can't wait!!!
Last year was my first playing the game. Before that, the last baseball game I played was Ken Griffey Jr on the SNES. It shows my age lol
It took me four months to complete the Live Series and got Rolen. But I got to say that the first month was not very productive as I spend a lot of time doing things that did not help me progress at all in the game lol It also did not help that I bought the game in May!
This year, just like you, I want to complete the Live Series as soon as possible. And as much collection as possible so I can get the "big guy" (last year Rolen, Williams, Bautista, etc.).
To do so, I will grind a lot. I might also be much more agressive than last year, when I wait and wait and wait before finally buying cards from the first collections in the game (like all-stars, rookie, breakout, veterans).
I have to say that I only play offline. The goal is to put the better team together to continue improving my team to unlock the most cards and packs as possible.
I am really excited!!

Last year was my first year as well. First baseball game I've owned since Baseball Stars on NES in like 1990. You're not the only old [censored] in here.
I bought it late and then didn't even know there was an online marketplace or app until like the 4th inning. Eventually, I got every card but I should be more efficient this time.
Side note, Baseball Stars was an awesome game. You could build your team and it tracked stats. You earned currency on wins and could upgrade your players. Way ahead of it's time.

I've said it 100 times on this forum. Baseball Stars was the best game ever. So yes, I'm old.

Baseball stars is a classic, i remember being blown away because you could climb the wall to rob a homerun, nowadays obviously it’s common place, but back then it was groundbreaking.

Baseball stars one and two and Bases Loaded with the beanballs and fights. Love those old NES classics and still load em up every once in awhile.
