I will say CPU fielders actually miss dives now and the ball gets behind them, I've gotten a few triples with guys like Tellez

Does anyone know if they plan on fixing this slow running out of the box? I actually really like a lot of the new stuff, but this is insane. Hitting balls in the gap in RTTS, but only getting singles because slow start animation.

Yeah, i had to replay one where Elly De La Cruz was thrown out at first after a ball ricocheted to third off the pitcher.
I was baffled as he should normally do that comfortably, but I watched the replay a few times and it took him seven steps to rise above a jog.
Utterly ridiculous and not at all accurate.

Yes. They spend like 18 seconds walking from the plate to about 10 feet down the line. Then they begin their sprint. Super annoying.
Plus, even mediocre fielders seem to throw line drive dots from the deepest parts of the outfield to the second basemen. That doesn’t help.

@GoozeFn_PSN yeah if even offline u go back and watch a replay it takes them a quarter century to drop there bat and take the first 2 steps.

Runners were already WAY too slow for years and they somehow made it worse this year making them run in quicksand after they hit. Add in top of that the perfect CPU fielding reactions and throws, no matter who the player is, it’s nearly impossible to get a double with anyone that doesn’t have above average speed, if it bounces off the wall especially you’re getting thrown out at 2nd. It’s a [censored] joke.

I hold L1 out of the box until batter rounds first when bases are empty, down plus triangle when I have a man on 2nd and you aren't sure if the OF is going to give a superman audition

Mike Trout can hit the ball all the way to the wall AWAY from the shift and not get a double.

It’s also silly that a 90+ speed player gets thrown out at the plate with a single and can’t score from second base or gets thrown out on a sac fly. Triples are nearly impossible this year unless you just take a chance and they have a bad throw.
