Enough with bunting

I’m playing a 3rd baseman and the ridiculous amount of bunting is getting old. NO ONE bunts with a full count. I just played 4 straight games with this happening. First game my team was up 9-1 it was the top of the 9th with 2 outs and catcher bunts with a full count. 2nd game 5-1 in 8th with 2 outs 1st baseman bunts another full count. 3rd game 5-5 top 9, 2 outs another full count SS bunts. 4th top 8 we are up 11-0 with 2 outs and yet again catcher bunting.
There is absolutely no case in MLB where this makes sense or would happen. It’s so annoying to try and defend something that has no logic. Manager would be fired and player benched and or demoted.

I couldn't agree more. Why is Judge putting down a sac bunt in the 8th? I like that they made it so you can actually charge the ball before the bunt is down but I usually get more bunt fielding plays than actual plays at 3B

This is what happens when you get a group of coders who don't understand baseball working together, operating on the presumption that no matter the position you choose to have your avatar play, you must get an extreme amount of "challenging" plays against you.
This is the same nonsense that sees about 80% of chances for any outfielder be screaming line drives, with practically zero fly balls where the fielder can actually get under the ball with a second or so to spare. This happens most of the time in real life baseball, but in SDS's version, it is very rare.
So, what is the most "challenging" play for a third sacker? It's the bunt, followed by the soft hit grounder to third.
What really galled everyone who plays the game is that SDS did what they always do when these issues are raised, which is whistle past the graveyard like nothing is amiss and fail to fix it. This issue was first observed with MLB 22, and got worse with MLB 23. MLB 24 and 25 saw no improvements, and it seems clear the same nonsense of faux drama carried over to MLB 26. That's four years of utter nonsense and counting.

@priorfir4383355_xbl I agree completely, it has been getting worse every year. It’s a joke and to be honest as much as I like playing 3rd I stopped advancing that player. It’s just not fun to have to constantly be barehand and throw. There is nothing simulation about it because it’s just not real world.
