Mini seasons ugh

just had a false failure after demolishing DR in the first round, after pool play. Game says I lost and I can't bring myself to restart it without knowing it won't glitch. but I need those two cards.
The irony is that I've avoided mini seasons for years because something like this happened to me when they first introduced them, so I've vowed to not be fooled twice.
well here I am, the fool again. disheartened.

But I'm still playing mini seasons to this day and so far there is no problems. Just stats are still screwed up LOL and this is coming from somebody who use to be a only online player making world series and Close to a 1,000 rating almost every year when I had the time to do it. But now I'm a mini seasons 24/7 player. -
The stats are even worse than last year I think. I think I was getting Panama Tejada's stats even though I never played them. Mine sure as hell wasnt batting .190, dude rakes
But I've not run into anything worse than that, although the WBC format means you have to worry about losing. Which I don't stress out with like DQ, mainly because I enjoy the 3 inning games.

I take L’s every once in a while. I just move on. If I let a video game stress me out, it’s no longer an enjoyable hobby.

Okay, I actually did just get a bug with WBC miniseasons
My opponent was showing my team's abbreviation and the end screen had my name too. Further, I was getting perk pop ups from the conquest run I did this afternoon (no idea if they were applying)
I seem to be properly 1-0 in my bracket though

It was 5 games that are all washed.
It's whatever, but why would I even try it again if this is the outcome, when I FINALLY play mini seasons for the first time in 5 years, with the hiatus because of glitch and fail at my expense, in the first place?
I won't, which sucks because I only play this game. It's not about money or anything other than being bummed that the game I love isn't tracking correctly again. bleh.

In my miniseason, Ohtani had 18 homers and 44 rbis after 4 games, similar for the other players and my bench guy who didn't get any PAs won tournament mvp, SPs started with half energy and could only throw 30 pitches before almost out of energy in a 9 inning game, but other than that it was very fun.

@TheBigPapa55_PSN Only because of this piece of sht UI they brilliantly decided to roll out. It lags and takes forever to even set up your squad to play a game. Another brilliant SDS decision!

In my miniseason, Ohtani had 18 homers and 44 rbis after 4 games, similar for the other players and my bench guy who didn't get any PAs won tournament mvp, SPs started with half energy and could only throw 30 pitches before almost out of energy in a 9 inning game, but other than that it was very fun.
Im not touching 9 inning games until I see that worked out. 3 inning games, aside from the weird thing with the other team having my team's initial, seem identical to last year. In other words, they work just fine other than the stats are dumb and if the other team has my player there is fatigue weirdness

My starters all had half an energy bar to start and we're almost completely out after 30 pitches or so, and yes the stats are all messed up still.

if you turn on strech pitching and fast pitching for the cpu it's more like 6 min

Man, that's disappointing to hear. I bought Early Access but haven't had a chance to play yet. Mini season stats inaccuracies is one of those things that drive me nuts. I'll see what awaits me tonight.
