Yankees blue

I'm shocked nobody is talking about this but in the game the Yankees have a blue "New York" uniform that is labeled as 'Alternate' in the road uniforms section. I can't find ANYTHING on Google about NY introducing this uniform so is it real, a concept, something else entirely? Let's hear y'all's thoughts.

@Jor-el19_MLBTS No, it's a separate uniform from the spring training uniform and specifically labeled as "Alternate", the spring training uniform is specifically labeled as "Spring Training".

@EmberBurnsAll13_PSN It actually has been in the news this past week that PLAYERS on the Yankees are rallying for the blue spring training shirt to be an option for alternate road jerseys in the future. I heard the Yankees even went as far as to get permission from MLB to add them as an option. No official announcement from the Yanks yet, though. I think it's long overdue. They changed the beard policy afterall...
