Any Online mode changes?

I am curious have they announced any changes to online modes of Ranked, Events, BR, or WC yet. I am holding off preordering until I read of any changes but I haven’t seen anything yet. Sorry if I have missed something obvious that’s been announced.

BR will award stubs. WE dont know how much
Something is happening with events. don't think we know what yet, might be a program (not just win games)
