Front Office & GM Career Depth
Enhanced Hiring Process: A multi-phase interview process for GMs and staff where owners evaluate your "fit" before offering contracts.
GM Rumors & Interest: Systems that track league-wide interest in your services, allowing you to field offers from other teams that provide greater authority over personnel.
Dynamic Staff Management: The ability to promote internal staff to interim manager roles following a firing, paired with an enhanced coaching carousel featuring detailed personality types and "Manager Archetypes" that provide unique team perks.
Ownership Impact: Scenarios where team sales could lead to new ownership changing the front office or forcing you to meet new criteria for increased personnel control.
    International & Amateur Scouting Overhaul
International Free Agency: A dedicated international pool for scouting and signing top global talent, moving beyond the current North American-centric draft.
Draft Exposure Logic: Improved logic for amateur player exposure, making the process of finding "hidden gems" more realistic through various scouting rounds.
Scouting Specialization: Front office personnel with specific regional expertise to improve discovery efficiency.
    Realism & League Immersion
Enhanced Media & Rumors: A news-driven "Fog of War" system for rumors regarding staff firings, potential team sales, and front-office shifts.
Manager Ejections: Returning manager-umpire arguments and ejections to standard gameplay to increase dugout intensity.
Relocation & Stadium Revamps: Improved relocation logic where free agents recognize new team cities and regional traits, plus better tools for rebuilding or modernizing current stadiums.
MLB Governance: Including a voting system for major league changes (e.g., expansion, rule changes) if ownership or league leadership shifts hands.

Revamped Front Office: Expect a more dynamic system for trades and free agency, with market setting by top teams.
Improved Logic: Better lineup and rotation logic for a more realistic team management experience.
Relocation/Expansion Tools: Better tools for rebuilding stadiums and improved logic for relocation, with potential for MLB governance voting.
Community-Desired Features (Not Confirmed for 26):
Pre-Hiring GM Contracts: Your idea of signing a contract before being hired as GM is a popular community wish for more depth.
Poaching & Offers: Rival teams poaching GMs and offering better deals/roles (like President of Baseball Operations) is a highly requested feature for realism.
Managerial Revamps: Deeper firing/promotion mechanics (interim/permanent) and archetypes for managers.
Deeper Scouting & Draft: Expanding the draft beyond 6 rounds and a more robust scouting department is a frequent request.
International Free Agency: Bidding for players from Japan and elsewhere is a common demand.
Ownership Changes: Scenarios involving potential team sales, new ownership, and fit discussions are on the community wishlist.

I would dispute that free agency is good. We are limited to talking to 3 players. That isn't what happens in MLB. Sounds like a gimmick designed for March to October that mistakenly was put in Franchise.

@sullivanspring_MLBTS You’re actually not, go outside the top free agents and you can sign as many people there and then, the big board for the 3 is only for the top free agents.

We disagree. Have you looked at the players outside the top 150? None of them are worth having on a team.

The limit of 3 is not what happens in MLB and is ridiculous. Likely something added as a result of people complaining the offseason was too complicated. Put all that nonsense in March to October. As a person who wants a serious franchise mode this is one of the more disappointing aspects. Instead of making it deeper they keep making it shallower.

A lot of those outside 150 FAs are not worth it outside of minor league depth but if they kept the statistics from MiLB and had the proper organizational depth & parameters for who can play where (eg AAA has 28 roster spots not including rehab assignments or A Ball cannot have a more than 1-2 players with 5-6 years of MiLB experience) some of those guys would be rostered more often

Another nice option, would be to know a hitter's history verse the upcoming starting pitchers before the games start. It tells us during the game, and a couple of times, I thought: "I wish I knew that before"
    I piggyback on rainouts/doubleheaders
It would also be realistic to have the option to start a franchise with the real life opening day rosters for all teams not just user. It always resets on me from transition from Spring Training to Regular Season.
Draft was American prospects (with college info included) and a separate signing period for International prospects.

I agree. Progression and regression are flawed. I doubt it gets fixed.
