Why Can’t I Start A New Season?

So, I was doing a Franchise. Was having a blast. I then got to the 2049 season. And when I tried to start a new season, the screen just froze, and I’d have to restart the game. I thought that maybe it’s because I reached the year limit, but after looking it up, apparently there isn’t one. So, I was confused, but gave up, and started a new Franchise. Now I try to start the 2028 season in this one, and I get the same thing! A frozen screen, and being forced to restart the whole game. What am I doing wrong? And if not, what is wrong with the game?

I haven't experienced that and it would be very frustrating. I make sure to have multiple saves. Did you try loading a different save file to see if you get a different result?

@TheBigPapa55_PSN Haha. Sadly I have found that out. And it’s a bummer, too. Been getting my best friend of 20 years into sports, and we’ve been doing this together, picking players and all of that and watching them play. So mostly been bummed for him when I’ve gotta tell him that our franchise doesn’t work, anymore.
