What is the blizzard program and what cards are expected

I am not sure any of us know yet. They Have done no teasing, that I have seen, of any content for the program.

Last year was just 2 new captains each week for random teams.
Its where they often dump cards they havent figured out what to do with yet, something like a Gary Carter gold glove winner captain or something.

What difference would it make? Isn't that already the Meta? The top switch hitters attributes are so high that a +6 or +8 boost will not help a player like Raleigh whose main attributes are already maxed out or significantly improve a player with 110 plus ratings in these attributes already.

Both these guys needed cards so that is good.
Not using Lou Brock, who desperately needs an upgraded card, for the stolen bases captain makes me scratch my head. Hre's hoping he gets a Retro Finest maybe.
It will be interesting to see how these are implemented. I don't think that they keep the stats for every player to know which ones had 50 stolen bases. Then the Whitey "World Series" MVP seems too limited. It would boost very few cards and not be a viable theme team on it's own.

I am interested to see how they flag them. There is nothing in the current data that I look at in the APIs that they could use to automatically flag these. They would probably need to be done manually somehow.

I'm selfishly hoping that they keep these to things we can check in the API Files. I have worked on new Captain screens in anticipation of more captains. Here is a downloadable summary screen but the main screen in the app does not cut off the eligible players and shows them all.

Well, I was going to run out a new version of my program with the Captain Deep dive screens but they have not even flagged Raleigh and Skenes as captains in the downloadable files yet and I am not sure there is any way that I can filter for the two new captains with the data provided.
Also, it sure would be nice if I could use a Lou Brock card to get the 3 stolen bases needed for the program. I mean I probably could but that 62 steal attribute and 75 speed discourages me from trying.

P5 that mother to make him 67/80. Stealing should be automatic at that point.
