Ah, yes. The magical 6th inning buff / nerf.

99 Jordan Zimmerman
99 John Franco
99 Tyler Holton
98 Gregory Soto
99 Adrian Morejon
98 Camilo Doval
99 Goose GossageYeah, ultimately I'd rather have more games like that than losing 2-1, but still feels manipulated within the mechanics of the game and that's what I don't care for.

Who pitched which inning(s)?
-
6th inning must be the momentum shift. if you grind against the CPU on rookie, you'll lose your no hitter./perfect game every time in the 6th.
-
Zimmerman started and went 2
Franco relieves him, goes 0.1 innings and gives up 3 hits and 3 runs
Holton next for 1.2
Soto for 2.0
Morejon for 1.2
Doval for 0.1
Gossage for 0.2@ThaGhettoBlasta_PSN
It absolutely is.On another note, a recent patch must have come in to ruin 25 for good. It was playing pretty good in September, but ever since the last Weekend Classic started, it's been virtually unplayable. Everything that's bad about The Show is happening basically every game. I'm losing to inferior opponents under highly questionable circumstances. I'm talking my opponent getting late timing wet noodle home runs vs my blasts that die at the 329 foot mark when a homer is 330 feet. Consistently. Each game finds a new and impressive way to make me hate The Show more.
I've noticed this formula playing out with every sports game too. Right before the game is abandoned and all the focus shifts to the next year's iteration, there is an update that makes the game play about as bad as it ever has. Madden, 2K, The Show...it doesn't matter. What a dream it would be to see sports gamers protest yearly rehashes and make sports games great again.

You left Zimmerman in to long.

Yeah, 2 innings for starters is typically the limit. But every single one of my relievers came in and basically replicated his performance.
-
I kinda see what your saying. Anytime your opponent pops off, even he's swinging like [censored] the inning before and he has terrible batting averages, it usually happens in the sixth inning. It's happened a little too often for me to say it's just a coincidence.
-
For example, my opponent was hitting like [censored] and was down three. He had one home run on a hanging slider. Once the sixth came, he proceeded to hit 5 home runs in a row, putting me down by 2. I still ended up winning the game, but don't you think that is a little much?
-
This happens more in the 6th inning because
- Your starter is probably pretty low on energy
- Your opponent has seen your pitch sequencing with your starter quite a bit at that point
- You're facing the middle of the order for a 3rd time
Theres no conspiracy, its just the point in he game where that stuff is more likely to happen
