Here are some ideas I think would be cool additions to DD. Some of them may be tough to execute but others should be fine. Let me know your thoughts
A Retro Year in Diamond Dynasty
So you know how for Spotlight drops we get a Retro Lightning card? How about we take that concept and do it throughout the entire year. Let me explain. So SDS can go throught the regular year-based content like Spotlight, Pipleine, ASG, Postseason, HRD, and Finest, but what if for every one of those drops we get cards from a different year and the year they choose is the only source of retro content (of course this doesn't mean we exclude legend drops those obviously stay). Let's go with 2007 for example. We could get Pipeline cards for guys like Ryan Braun, Troy Tulowitzki, Alex Gordon, Phil Hughes, Homer Bailey, and more. We could an ASG content drop for that year and Finest content. We could get player programs for milestones. Like we could get a Kershaw milestone program, but alongside that we can get a Craig Biggio milestone program for getting his 3000 hit in 2007. Now this would be tough because SDS would need to add so many new legends, but that's also kind of the point. Creating a concept like this would not only mean DOUBLE the content, but this would mean a ton of new legends like Magglio Ordonez, Jake Peavy, Aaron Harang, Jose Reyes, A-Rod, Tulowitzki, and others.
    Card Series Ideas
Field of Dreams: This would most likely be a themed program with the stadium and uniforms including, highlighting guys like Tim Anderson, Giancarlo Stanton, and even Drew Smyly.
Payday Series: Highlighting the guys who got PAID like Juan Soto, Bryce Harper, and Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
Runner-Up Series: Showcasing the players who notably finished runner-up for MVP, Rookie of the Year, Cy Young, and Batting Title like Matt Kemp, Zack Wheeler, Adley Rutschman, and more.
League Leaders Series: Instead of making league leaders milestones, they should create their own separate series. This could highlight guys like Matt Olson, who it 54 homers in 2023 and only finished 4th in MVP, or Gerrit Cole, who struck out 326 batters in 2019 but didn't win the Cy Young.
Turn Ahead the Clock Series: Highlighting players who took part in that 1999 promotion (this would specifically be for Ken Griffey Jr. but others as well).

This feels like a rights nightmare waiting to happen. I think it'd be fun (I'm old enough to remember it.), but the further on we go, the smaller the target audience of this would be.

They don't even give the guys who actually win those awards cards most of the time.

For example, it seems like this year would be a good one for say a Paul Goldschmidt MVP card. The Cardinals best 1B primary option this year is a 91 Spotlight Willson Contreras. They gave the 99 McGwire to Oakland this year so the Cardinals really could use an upgrade at first base.

I have never understood why, when there are on two MVPs and two CY Young winners each year, they are so stingy with those cards?
