    Trout start and have griffey off the bench to use his pinch hitter quirk when you need to swap them out.

    I agree with @xRatedGProdigyx_PSN, go with who you play better with, don’t force yourself to use someone because of name. I also agree with @TossGawd_XBL, put them both in if they are two of the outfielders you want to use.
    I think that SDS did a great job of giving Griffey Jr. one of the things he was known for in his years at the plate: “The Sweetest Swing.” However, I use both players as I have Junior P5 so he keeps his diamond fielding in left.

    As a lefty batter in real life, I prefer Griffey . All the lefty-on-lefty crime he's produced for me is just gold!

    Trout. If for nothing else than the 3-4 best cards/pitchers in the game are lefties. Both great cards, but man that Trout just destroys everything!
