That's not how it works. He competed in the HRD X competition as a Met so he is a Met. I doubt SDS can even give him a Twins card based on the HRD X rights

This is a great thing overall
I cant help but be a little disappointed in the pack though. Since this is a choice pack they likely wont be adding this to the deluxe pack for a while, if ever (I know Prime is there, but signature is not unless its been added recently)
Given this is the only card a lot of these players will receive it would be nice to have a better farmable option
I was hoping they would have given a repeatable conquest for this, but eh, might as well try to make a little extra at the end of the year and i can't fault them for that. While getting the rights for these was probably free, there was still effort getting them into the game.
