You Never Fail to Disappoint, SDS

If you think the dev team doesn't listen to the players you are blind.
They just don't always address the things we would like them too -
Players: We want a Stadium Creator
Devs: Here's a Stadium CreatorPlayers: We are tired of the same commentary team get new ones
Devs: Introduces a New commentary teamPlayers: We don't want my Ballplayer injected in Diamond Dynasty
Devs: Okay, You can no longer use your created player in DDPlayers: We are tired of waiting until November to get the cards we actually want to play with
Devs: Here's sets and seasonsPlayers: We hate sets and seasons go back to power creep
Devs: Power creep is backPlayers: we need more game modes
Devs: Here's Diamond Quest and Weekend ClassicNow, I am not going to say that they were wildly successful in their efforts and they may not have addressed yours or my concerns but they have made changes based on player feedback.
What I have learned over the years is no matter which group of players they listen to or whatever changes they may make another subgroup of the player base will be upset about it.

Some things as a result of player feedback during the year:
-3s conquest map
-Draft conquest map
-Run it back miniseason (I personally have been bitching about no repeatable premier packs and here they are)
-Better handling of retro collection (remember how bad Santana was to get initially?)
-Win rewards back in event
-You can fail a showdown stage -
The showdown one was huge.
One thing I hope they can look into and hopefully it's a simple thing , the fan calls in crowd noise, I've had the crowd all the way off for 2 months(about to put back on cause it sucks playing this way) but it's way too much with the "aww c'mon, your kidding me, unbelievable" etc.
Would be fine if it was sporadic and short but it's not , you get 5+ that goes on for sometimes 10 seconds, especially grating when it happens and doesn't fit the play, like an RBI groundout or a sac fly. -
There are lots of dev choices in DD that don't make much sense to me. But, the content constantly made available in this game is super duper compared to any other sports game out there.

False, false, false, and [censored] false again. Atta boy, kid, you are 0-4. One, I usually play on HOF in Ranked, have a winning record, and have some of the best cards in the game like Beltran and Ted Williams, so you're not even close on that part. Number two, if you think getting juiced 99 Yankee cards every drop is "meaningless" well Idk what to say. You do you I guess, but when each Spotlight drop and really each content drop as been the same [censored] all year, it pisses the community off after awhile. Can't we get an even distribution in terms of skill in the program and pack instead every usable card being in the pack instead. This isn't a meaningless issue, this is a BIG issue and icymi it's been the case almost all year. Personally I don't really care about theme teams rn but others do, and this is why most theme teams suck up until this point. Would you still say I'm complaining about meaningless issues or is this a real conundrum?Just another guy crying because A) All the lighting flash backs were probably picked back in March and 2) they dont control who has good games in real life. Everyone on here complains and complains about content. Why? Content is the thing SDS has always done good. Even when you had people wanting 99's all year long when anyone who has played since 17 knew this was a bad call. But they did it and gave it 2 years and it failed. Next I dont care what you play on because I to hang in the 800s so you should be asking for consistency in gameplay not crying what player gets a spotlight card. Coming in here cursing acting like the biggest issue in The Show is content is like crying because your mom only gave you 1 piece of dessert.

First of all, you need to learn some grammar because you make zero [censored] sense. But let me try to decipher this code language you speak. Ok let me make this perfectly clear, nobody gives a flying [censored] as to when the lightning flashback players are picked. I only care who gets picked, and I don’t think anybody agrees with not necessarily the choice because Gary Sanchez is a very good card, but the timing. Timing is everything in this game, whether it’s when content releases or when you’re hitting in Ranked, and SDS simply got it wrong as they’ve done with many things this year. Another annoying thing is that the program entails Jakob Marsee, while the pack contains Jurickson Profar, Rafael Devers, Brenton Doyle, et cetera. But to you, that’s good content. The better, more usable cards are in a pack while the [censored] cards are free. Some logic, dude. And then ofc there’s Chipper Jones in a, you guessed it, a Chase pack. What a [censored] shock. One of the best cards in the game is only accessible in an [censored] pack and in the marketplace and he’s worth over half a million stubs. Yeah, that’s great content. Dude stop dickriding and look at the game for what it actually is. -

Especially since you're playing HoF all day long like you said. Also, I hated last year and you know what I did? I effing quit in May and never came back. You get unbanned and go on a rant instantly as if anyone really cares. With all of that being said, as a Yankees fan, I'd like a few non Yankees at this point for major content drops. Although 99 jazz would be nice first

@Thongypu_PSN
But don’t you agree that Chase Pack cards always being meta cards is a little annoying? Personally Idc about getting Chipper as I’m okay with David Wright, and no I don’t play all day long, I have a job. All I’m saying is I want to see a little diversity, and that’s not what we’re seeing. I obviously understand you run a business, but you have to actually, yk, but to make everything about grinding stubs instead of cards, or falling for the alternative and buying stubs, that’s not right. There are other ways you can make money -
And yet another thread that turned into name calling and vulgarity laced replies.
Can tell its the weekend.
Any chance this can be rectified? @SDS_JoeK_PSN

Dude stop dickriding and look at the game for what it actually is.Lol you wanna claim good grammar yet have not made 1 single post where you can't swear, because your a tool. Next off when they pick who's gonna be a flash back in March for August Spotlight and then dang a bunch of Yankees have a great August. YOU think that they should change everything, just because you either dont like the Yankees or feel there are to many 99 Yankee cards. Well KAREN let's go ahead and spell thing out for you so you can understand how life works. A) YOUR personal feelings on a team does not matter, B) Kinda unreasonable to change who SDS already had designated for a flash back because of a while team having a good month, and C) Historically what time in baseball has had some of if not the best players pass through thier club house?
Now to break down the fact that you are obviously a 20 something child. SDS has infact done a great job of content this year. Yes some cards are going to be pack locked, BUT they have made enormous strides from 23 and 24 were you were lucky to get 1 free pack. This year if you completed the Spotlight program you had what 5 free Spotlight packs. Not to mention if you completed the Neon programs by the end of all the teams (I know because I zeroed my packs first) around 100+ standards, 10-20 ballin, 10+ choice packs, and a few ultra packs not even including the reward program packs.
So as we can see YOU are a child who complains about the .1% thing while people who have actual experience in playing the game call a spade a spade and a heart a heart. Or in other words have NO problem saying SDS you are freaking doing amazing with content THIS year. But where you should focus next is your inconsistent gameplay mechanics. -
Hey folks,
As always, we're happy to hear your opinions and complaints, but they must be given in respectful and productive ways. The feedback on Gary Sanchez has been passed on to the team.
In the meantime, I'm closing this thread, not because of the opinions that it contains, but because of a general lack of respect for others being showcased by some.
Respect for fellow members is the cornerstone rule of these forums and it's non-negotiable.
Thanks!
