For those struggling with hitting online

I played ranked for the first time in about a month today.
I played 4 or 5 games and all were home games at Coors.
If you're struggling is it your timing or just a general complaint about exit velocity?
I felt like all 5 games I was behind on pitches that I didn't feel like I should have been. I don't remember this being a thing in previous weekend classics (for me).
For the most part I think the input and the outcomes matched in all 5 games. It felt a little laggy and I never got a freeze but the game did stop a little bit after numerous first base animations.

That’s really the hard part of online play in this game. There is a slight delay compared to offline hitting. That’s why sinkers inside and fastballs with outlier dominate in this game. It’s very hard to be on time with those pitches.
