Hot take? Make weekend classic a week long classic?

Downsides vs Upsides of making weekend classic simply the last week of each "inning" or last week of each ranked season.
I know the leaderboards would be worthless because it'd be pretty much whoever had the most volume to play.
I personally can only play the game for a good length of time on Saturday and Monday. I was planning to playing this Monday but i'll have to work later in the morning then I thought. I like the idea of weekend league and have found it fun when I've been able to play but I think it would be better to play 6 sweaty games over the course of like a week. I know some people space it out between Friday and Tuesday but my job doesn't really work with that schedule.
I'll have about 3 hours to play on Monday now this week but it won't be enough to play 6 games so I'll likely just finish off the santana mini seasons.
