Playing weekend classic,the division you are in,does it stay that entire division all weekend classic or does it go by your rating?

Your player skill setting is suppose to stay the same. So if you only made silver 2 and are on All-star then every game you play during WC is suppose to be on All-star even if you won 10 straight and made 800 rating. This is my understanding and what seems to be the case. I could be incorrect though.
