DQ showdown pxp and stats

Quick question- do showdowns in DQ count for PxP and do the stats save as offline stats the same as if it was a game? For instance if I put in Beltran and he hits a home run in a showdown in DQ does that add to his offline HR total?

The showdowns in diamond quest count for pxp only, so if you hit a homerun it won't count towards the offline total
