Realization the game is just BROKE... period!

I think we all just need to realize the game was unfinished this year and is broke. The sheer amount of times we are having to restart the game and or freezing up in menus or whatever the case. I was just playing mini seasons and somehow was lagging in that. I’ve never In my life experienced lag on the show during anything offline.
The hitting engine is brutal and the pitches warping well behind ur player has gotten worse through the year. The servers are terrible. I could go on and on. But let’s just think about this for a second….
WE WERE SOLD an unfinished game at full price. We complain about issues on here and nobody from SDS helps us or answers us.
THE GAME HAS TO BE RESTARTED DAILY MULTIPLE TIMES Just to work for crying out loud.SDS just laughing all the way to the bank ?
This year has been a perfect example of why do anything about it if we are still making money and successful. With all this being said, there is absolutely no way we get a fixed game anytime soon and especially an updated graphics engine. -
And now I just got disconnected from an online match hahaha what!?!??? What is going on with this game right now my GOD!!!

@x-814-x-MAFIA-x_PSN you sure do like me MAFIA. I paid 70 bucks for this game and it’s the only game I play. Therefore I would rather play a complete game or otherwise complain till there is notice. You finally earned yourself a block on my end.

This happened to me too in a mini seasons game for the first time yesterday. I had to actually unplug my PS5 to get out of it and took the loss.
Luckily it was only the 1 time but even so this should not happen in offline modes period. This year’s game does seem to be the “buggiest” I can ever remember.
Whether it’s broken coding stacked on top of more broken coding, lack of resources to address issues, or just flat out lack of quality control, it’s definitely noticeable on a daily basis.

I wonder what % of people this happens to. Im 94 an 97 so almost 200 9 inning games ive played and had zero freeze off. Only one game i had the ball do some weird teleporting for like 4 innings when i was trying to pitch. This has been my fav year of the past 10 years.

The only time I get freezes is in the manage lineup screen. Happens a few times a week, but generally never more than once a day. Thankfully I haven't had a freeze in gameplay.

@mdafurball_PSN, I’m in the same boat. Almost 200 ranked games, several mini seasons completed, lots of time grinding against CPU in other modes… exactly 1 freeze off, and almost no problems offline. And I am also enjoying this year’s iteration more than years past.
It’s almost funny that some people with bad connections can’t come to grips with the fact that the problem likely exists on their end of things. Maybe their incredible fiber internet is hampered by bad wiring between the MPoE and their modem, or by any other number of potential failure points. Who knows? But when the same game works beautifully on the same hardware for most other people, the problem isn’t the game.
Maybe a few more angry posts will do the trick.

Uniform logos still disappear, the lineup menu has been freezing all year, custom stadiums have been plagued by some hack stadium, etc... The OP has a valid point and is just coming here to vent, like a lot of folks do. There have been some annoying problems since launch.
However, I do not agree that the "game is broke". H2H and vs CPU Gameplay has been enjoyable for me. Thankfully, Sets and Seasons are gone, and I have enjoyed the Innings format. There are still a lot of fun, legendary cards to use, and the Spotlight program has been excellent this year. Lastly, SDS still does live streams regularly, and they have communicated with me after each bug or feedback submission.
So while there is much room for improvement, I am fairly happy with the game.

That one is kind of inexcusable to me. Unless it is the trickiest most hard to track bug ever that should have been fixed. The fact that this has been in the game for multiple years now just makes them look apathetic to their cosmetic bugs.
That along with the broken attribute wheel which I have stopped even looking at it much because at this point I don't know if those are the proper values or incorrect values. That is a bad state for a games UI to be in.

I agree but all you do is back out of DD and back in then the logo is back. Not like you load up the game and the entire outfield is missing which would be the equivalent of playing Madden with no defensive backfield which was one of their persistent bugs.

Doesn't matter how easy it is to work around. It should not happen. That bug should have been squashed long before it made it into this years version.

I said I agree and gave an issue much worse in a much bigger title. Would you rather have to take a loss because your entire outfield was missing? Lol.

Yep, but after many years of dealing with this logo issue, I discovered a reliable method to fix it, at least temporarily.Anytime your logos disappear, just make a slight adjustment to your hat logo, and they will show back up. I thought that adjusting just the home hat logo would fix everything, but then I realized that you may need to adjust both the home and away hat logos. Regardless, I am not sure what makes the custom uniform logos disappear, but this is how you can restore your custom logos.
I used to delete everything and re-upload everything and change the names of all of the logos, etc... and those methods did not always work. However, changing the positioning hat logos, seemed to always work, and that is when I realized that the bug is probably somewhere in the line of code that deals with the hat logo.
*So when your logos disappear (home or away), just shrink the hat logo by one pixel, or move the hat logo by one pixel... and your custom hat, jersey, helmet, jacket, etc. logos will re-appear.
But I agree, this is inexcusable... along with Lagaussa or whaever that nonsense is with the hack stadium.

All I do is leave DD and come back. Takes about 5 seconds. And it’s back to normal. At worse leave the game and come back. Takes 30 seconds.

That does not always work. At times, I have even shut down my system and disconnected from the network, and the logos still did not show up on reboot.
The only fix that works in those cases is to make a small adjustment to your hat's custom logo, of the H or A logos that are not being loaded into a game.

@The_Joneser_PSN so why is it that much more demanding games perform flawlessly ? Giant servers with 64 players and enhanced graphics. Once again I might chalk it up to inconsistency or geographical location but ur point is pointless and silly. Move on
