800 and above rating

Welp I played a 6-0 weekend classic player after that game , took a massive L I just quit , and then I got matched with another 1000 player , just quit again. Guess I can’t even play ranked now because of the matchmaking. This is stupid.

@elMexicano281_PSN THE MATCH MAKING ON THIS GAME IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST IN ALL THE GAMES IVE EVER PLAYED. Call of Duty is notorious for throwing you in a match full of the best players ever to exist if you win a game and MLBTS25 Blows that [censored] out of the water. I’m going through the same thing but a level lower. I’m championship series CONSTANTLY matching up with WS players who’s batting average is .380 with records of 59-10 28-6 and 86-40 anytime I get close or get back into championship series. They need to fix it but they won’t bc again the game is [censored]. They need to merge the gap between lowest and highest numbers. If you’re 800 then you should not be matching up with people 1000+

Well, based on your input … there could be multiple answers.
- You did not watch the filter bar and let it go over the initial border … in other words: you allowed to system to search for players over 1000 and find them.
- The matchmaking is based on the current record in this ranked season. So it is possible for player#1 to reach 1000 in april, not play again (being demoted to like 550) and then pick it up again … to play on lower levels … Same goes for players who reach 1000 and this was their first ranked game in this current ranked season … in other words: just bad luck

@elMexicano281_PSN being honest, you sound like a loser. Everyone in this ranked system gets to the same point. Thats how this works. You get as high as you can get, then you get matched with better players and you get humbled and sent back. That level is higher for you than most people, but complaining about getting matched with better players makes you sound like a loser.

Can't be the best if you can't beat the best.
I guess we know now though why 1000 rated players go through an hour of people dropping out before they can find a game. There needs to be a better matchmaking system for 1000 and above but maybe there just aren't enough of them on at a time to match up?

Matchmaking in this game is bad, other night our search range was 397-597(or so), and we found an opponent...got demolished and after the game we saw they were around 740/750. It happens and it's not the rule, it's the exception...it's just flippin' annoying

I think people fail to realize that everyone who finishes 800 and above gets reset to 700. It doesnt matter if you made it to 801 or 1301, you still get the same starting rating. I get friendly requests 2/3 of the time passing through 800s

@tear4eddy_PSN just reached 900 today I wouldn’t say I’m a loser . The whole reason playing any video game is because it should be fun and challenging right ? Well there’s no fun in facing those players and them hitting homerun after homerun in the first inning , they are way better than me and I acknowledge that . Just sucks getting matched up with them and already knowing you about to take an L lol it’s just like Madden or cod , you will never get matched with a top tier player unless you are equally that good . Here they get matched up with us regardless and just get smashed . But whatever , I been continuing taking my Ls .

@Talkingben9558_XBL even when they reset and are ranked in 700s they should still match up with someone who at least has reached 1000 one time.

@elMexicano281_PSN
Just because someone has made 1000 one time does not mean they should always match up with someone who got there at some point. Someone could be a 850 level player and just got lucky with who they matched up with that season and get 1001. Also, this would incentivize people to not make 1000. What is the difference between getting 990 and 1000? Should people only be able to play with other people who have gotten to the same block of rating at one point? Because that would make a lot of people very angry.
