Team Affinity?

What is the point of team affinity after you have unlocked all finest vouchers? I currently have all vouchers and teams around 40% done and don't see the point grinding just for a #1 fan icon. SDS please add something more to the TA path because right now it feels like a waste of time.

I wonder if there is going to be a TA in between now and Finest. I think Finest usually comes out around early Nov after the WS and that's a huge gap to fill with just little 4-5 card programs. We'll get playoff programs but even that doesn't start til Oct.

@mph2k_PSN They messed up with the big chunk of program xp for the color rush player xp. Now there’s nothing to do.

I agree with this. While there is a lot of grinding to do in order to get to the finest for all 30 teams it is Not a lot if you just concentrate on your favorite team.
I also hate the fact that the #1 icon goals are different for every team.
If I was a Rays fan I would only need roughly 600 hits, 110 HRs and 260 runs to get to the icon from where I am currently at, but since I am a Cardinals fan I actually need 2,800 more hits, 325 HRs and 1,400 runs. That seems impossible.

I would hope we get at least one more between now and the end of the season. The color storm Programs were 2 months ago. The Finest cards won't be released for a few more months. Meanwhile, there are still some teams, like the Cardinals, who don't even have a pitcher captain yet.

TA 4 will hit give or take the 2nd weekend in September.

They really screwed up with this. I understand the appeal of the vouchers and getting all the cards up front. But for offline grinders, Team Affinity is THE biggest content drop every two months or so. There is no reason why they couldn’t have still added a program path with missions and rewards using the All Star cards you received.
I play this game a good amount and I’m a offline only player but by means am anywhere near what top grinders do. But I run out of content routinely and have to wait for programs to drop. Team Affinity is usually a great fall back. They really really goofed and over corrected on this.

My issue is how they could have added more free packs after getting the vouchers but have large parts with no rewards

This isn't an issue with SDS being lazy or anything - it would super easy to just add some more rewards to TA. Like, no effort at all would be needed for this....it seems like a win-win for everyone. TA just kind of ending makes zero sense.

They really just need to add rewards along the path, packs, stubbs, XP etc from finest to finish. No reason to even look at it as is
