We all know Kershaw, Clemens, and Corbin Burnes, and now Ubaldo Jimenez will give many people hard times hitting, but aside from the big names, what low-key sort of pitchers just make you want to toss your controller? For me it's either the new All-Star Hunter Brown or Spotlight Jacob Misiorowski.

Anyone with a funky windup, Kanley Jansen, Dontrel Willis etc. Throws my timing off

Even when his cards aren't at a high level, I struggle against Nolan Ryan. He shouldn't be that unique, other pitchers throw heat. and have an off-speed pitch, but man.

Pedro is filthy and has something like a 25mph variance from high to low. Ridiculous.

For me it's Nolan Ryan. No idea why, never had issues hitting him in prior years.

Coloumbe from the twins in the draft cq.
You get a sp throwing 97+(which is fine)
but then in comes Coloumbe with his 85 cutter, either picks you apart or you time him up and then duran(who always follows) picks you apart with his outlier.

Same here. I'd rather face Randy every game than have to face Nolan once every 5 games. You could tell me you were just throwing the 4 seam every pitch and I still wouldn't hit it. I don't have much trouble catching up to other outlier pitchers but something about his release point, it feels like it's right on top of me before I even see it. When I use him though, he gets lit up usually. My most frustrating one card to ever hit though for me was that Joe Kelly card either last year or in 23 where his release was basically broken. I can't remember which it was but I absolutely hated facing him. I basically just guess every pitch.

My Clemens has been getting effed up lately lol. He was like an auto win before but I think the release of all of the upper 90s hitters made him very meh. I swear I can't throw the splitter anymore it's always a hr now lol
