https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Q_sTu9OySe-MbJLesz9QrAD7YYWFeJtOVBQ7BUKWgDk/edit?tab=t.0All of these were in last year's game and have been removed. Guess Manny and Clemons rights were expensive to get.
Kevin Youkilis
Mariano Rivera
Kirby Puckett
Minoso
Troy Percival
Tim Salmon
Nelson Cruz
John Smoltz
Fred Mcgriff
Keith Hernandez
Mike Schmidt
Ernie Banks
Orel Hershiser

Fred McGriff and Keith and Orel and Kirby were not in last years game. Keith was in 23 and Idk if McGriff, Orel, and Puckett were ever in the game. -
However, I wish they added the other guys mentioned back into the game.

Puckett, Orel and McGriff were definitely there but McGriff may have been 3 years ago now.

Ok so my bad, Orel, McGriff, Puckett and the one i miss Reggie Jackson were all in the 2023 version of the Show.

I'll speak as a Cardinals fan
- Pujols and Hornsby would be very good.
- Molina is a probably Hall OF Famer so it would be good but I would never use him as long as Simmons is in the game
- Wainwright - Quite possibly my favorite Cardinal so I would love it! Seems less likely though
- Hernandez - As long as we have McGwire and possibly Pujols someday along with backups like Musial then I don't think he is that important.
Other Candidates
- Willie Mcgee - 1985 Batting Champion, MVP winner, Gold Glove and Silver Slugger
- Chris Carpenter - Cy Young winner in 2005 (also came in 2nd and 3rd in other years)

The Mets need a lot of legends love
The ones that make the most sense:
Strawberry
Gooden (Yes, there are drug issues with these guys. Put them in anyway)
Orosco, McDowell, McGraw (The Show needs relievers badly)
Koosman (20 game winner for two teams, even good for the Phillies in his 40s)
Mookie Wilson (If they refuse to do Doc and Darryl, 86 Met without character issues, plus a speedy switch hitter)Guys that would be primarily for other teams but could get Mets card:
George Foster
Rick Aguilera
Bobby Bonilla -
It’s a huge bummer that they keep letting the rights lapse for Dead Ball era dudes. Christy Mathewson, Lefty Grove, Rogers Hornsby, Ty Cobb, Walter Johnson, Jimmie Foxx, and Cy Young (I think?) have all disappeared in the last few years.
I love that SDS has brought so many Negro Leagues stars into the game. It’s an outstanding way to keep history alive and introduce new audiences to players who are at risk of being lost to time. I’m sure SDS knows they play a very important role in connecting young fans to history, so i hope they make a very serious effort to bring back some of the players they’ve lost.
(If you’re looking for names to add to that list, White Sox fans would love to see Luke Appling, Nellie Fox, Eddie Collins, and Billy Pierce! — all of whom are in the HoF except for Pierce, who is sort of a borderline case as well!)
EDIT: Cy Young is still in the game!!!

I’ve been wanting Kevin Brown for years. Hopefully they’ll add him
