Maybe my best BR draft ever
-
LF: LS Giancarlo Stanton
SS: Vet Jimmy Rollins
3B: LS Joey Gallo
RF: SS Gary Sheffield
1B: LS Yoan Moncada
CF: Prospect Mickey Moniak
2B: LS Adam Frazier
C LS Yermin Mercedes
Bench: Rhys Hoskins, Niko Goodrum, Ryan O'Hearn, Travis Jankowski, Wyatt MathisonMy pitching is basically Julio Urias and 5 silver relievers, but I couldn't find any pitchers I liked in my gold rounds. Catcher is obviously the weak spot, but with OP players at so many spots, I'm hoping this is my 12 win run!

IMO any draft that wastes an outfield spot on golds instead of getting Soler can't be anyone's best draft ever. Its still a good team, but if you at least could have got LS Chirinos for C this team could have been God tier

Soler, Sano, conforto, pederson, voit, Hoskins, encarnacion are all practically diamonds on all star lol. I try to stock up on pitching and hope to get as many of these cards as possible.

The guy is pumped about his draft and people are nitpicking. Obviously everyone would like to get Soler every draft but you have to take what the draft gives you. He said it's maybe HIS best draft ever, not THE best draft ever.
I would argue it's less about pitching ratings in BR and more about what pitches they throw, if you can spot them with their BB/9 and control ratings, and how much energy/confidence they have.
The guys you mentioned as "practically diamonds" are the guys you want to compliment your diamond/gold hitters. I find I'm better off using mostly silver pitchers that throw sinkers and cutters. Depending on the rounds I get, sometimes I'll take a diamond or gold pitcher, but that's not the ideal for me. I'll take a bronze with good pitches over a low gold with mediocre pitches any day.
Take it for what it's worth. I've gone 12-0 once and 12-1 twice this year.

Well obviously it’s about pitch types. I try to pick up pitches with sinkers and cutters (soroka, Stroman, etc). I load up my bullpen with as many good cards/pitch types as possible. 2-3, silver starters with good pitches, then commons, then load up my bullpen.
I’m confident I can place smaller pcis with guys that have high power. That’s my point.
I’ve run a few 12-1s, and in one of those runs I was a good/okay perfectly placed fly ball (it also happened 2x earlier in the game) from a flawless.
I’m not nitpicking, I’m offering feedback for other people who are playing BR lol.
