Can any switch users confirm if multiplayer crossplay has been working for you since the last update?

Even with crossplay turned on, the opponent search has been buffering until it finds another switch user since the last update for me.

I played on switch until this year, and it is miserable. There is a 5 minute load to boot up the game, 2 minute waits for moments/games, and the frame rate is about 30. I couldn't believe how much better it was when I switched to xbox

I will say the experience on the Switch 2 is much more enjoyable than it was on OG Switch.
