Can’t play games as 99 rates two-way player?

Hi all - I grinded for a few seasons and hit 99 as both batter (SS secondary) and SP.
For my 2nd season it allowed me to play every single game as either DH or SS (day before, day of, and day after SP as DH). Ever since now they are only letting me hit 2/5 games as SS and never as DH. It also won’t let me hit on the day I pitch. It’s getting frustrating to miss 3 games for every pitching rotation as a hitter and Im 99 ovr… any fix or similar issues? Thank you in advance!
