Boss Challenge Every Game?!

For the last couple weeks, it seems like every single individual game I play in RTTS starts with a Boss Challenge — either the first batter I face if I'm the SP, or my first at-bat if I'm a position player. Usually it's a "Fierce Rival" situation, even if there is no rivalry whatsoever between us, according to my player's relationships. Once in a while I could understand, especially if I'm playing against another team in my division, but this is every single game, against every single team. What gives?

I thought it was just me because of hitting streak. Though occasionally I get a dynamic challenge when there runners on first and second (Boss Challenges that award Perk and Packages are still glitched and after instant quitting a few times with that boss challenge, a dynamic challenge takes it's place the next attempt).
