April Spotlight Question

Trying to finish up some older programs.
Is my math wrong in what I’m about to ask?
In order to finish the April Spotlight Drop 5 “K’s with April Spotlight”, I have to BUY a card!
I don’t have an April Spotlight pitcher in my inventory. The only April pitcher from these programs is Mackenzie Gore. Just pitched him, no K’s registered.
Am I missing something?? Thanks in advance for answering!

You are correct. Gore is a Topps Now card so he won't count for that stat mission.

@capardo_XBL You could also wait until you earn Luke Weaver and do the mission with him. He’s in the drop five program.

@GoozeFn_PSN yeah, I guess I can do that. Thanks for the advice. Seems kinda sneaky to me for this requirement. I guess I could always buy a card and then auction it back.

@capardo_XBL Most of those guys are only around 15k too.

@GoozeFn_PSN for me, stubs are extremely tight. Don’t mind buying one of the pitchers but would prefer not to lose too much on the “investment”. Gotta do what you gotta do.

That's only if you wanna finish that specific mission. All of the Spotlight programs have an abundant amount of options for finishing them where you can skip at least 3 or 4 things.
