And of course David Peterson is ignored yet again. What did he do to SDS?

One of the top pitchers in baseball over the last ~14 months yet absolutely nothing from SDS

This is exactly why the 3 card program is absolute nonsense.

Jacob Misiorowski is about to be a nightmare to face.
I hope the Ian Happ card has good splits. It’s always nice to have a versatile switch hitter.
Skenes will hopefully be good too. I really wish the Elly program came out now so he was a 94.

    @Teak2112_MLBTS

Possibly in the monthly program. If he’s doing that well they’ll put him in at the end of the month.

The problem is he has been pretty consistent
his monthly ERAs from last June:
    3.68
    3.38
    1.86 (in 38 innings)
    3.14

    3.06
    2.30
    2.35

Last August was the only month that was spotlight worthy I would say.
He should make the AS team this year, but you never know with that

Jacob Misiorowski now has one of the highest rated pitcher cards in the game, rated the same as the Inning Boss Nolan Ryan.

Misiorowski has pitched a total of hitless 5 innings. I could see a Topps Now card for that but a Spotlight?

Things have changed for me this year. Last year I jumped on at content release time every Friday and at least did the Moments but this year I have fallen way behind and looking at todays drop so far I don't see much reason to hop on this afternoon.

In a month we will have the highest rated cards in the game belonging to college kids

But they know how popular his breakout card was last year, at least they didnt make this a chase card

@Teak2112_MLBTS yeah he had an amazing debut. 6 inning no hitter until they pulled him. I just saw the stats. Double outlier. Not great control but he’s still going to give people trouble. Not bad for a spotlight card.

@Teak2112_MLBTS it’s getting laughable at this point. I’m a huge baseball fan but I love the Mets, having zero meaningful cards for them over the last month is a joke. The moonshot cards were players on and still on the DL, the other Mets cards top tier cards are non grind-able cards until the card has been out for over a month. Now the Mets are falling so hopefully they add a card or two soon, but probably not

They put the summer packs in the Sammy Sosa program. Very cool

Also Ian Happ pretty decent stats. Unfortunately he’s not as versatile as he usually is. Primary LF with no secondaries but he has high enough defense that he might be safe putting him somewhere else

Joe Mauer is the Chase card and he looks good. His swing will play.

Plus Devers in a spotlight card if you collect 2. Sweet!

Topps Now Roman Anthony might be a budget beast

Maybe I'm old school but shouldn't a Gold Glove Award card have 99 Fielding?

I kind of think it is cheesy, but good that it counts towards the collections.

Are we going to get 97 or 98 overall New Threads cards for every player that moves at the trade deadline?

SDS did pretty good with todays content

    Bad
-They didn't add enough multiplayer missions to make the 100 runs optional, and doubled down with another 100 hits
-Spotlight continues to be a disgrace with worthy cards ignored due to copy/paste programs
-After a contentless week, a 3 team conquest and a one card program? Come on.

    Good
    -Free Devers
-Summer packs added to Sosa (these have 4500 min quick sell)
-the cards in multiplayer + devers look good

We are just now in this 2 week cycle with minor content in the off weeks, but all star/draft is coming and the annual mid year turn towards being more player friendly seems to be under way

Spotlight really needs a revamp for 2026, and I expect it will get that
