Do POTM Players LS Prices Normally Tank?

Tarik Skubal is POTM, as you know. That card is better than his LS, so why would someone pay 48K or so for the LS when the POTM card is free?
I ask, because I need him to finish Detroit and am holding out ala T.J. Watt, lol.

There's a chance he goes up to a 90 or higher next update so he could start getting more expensive instead of coming down.
