High A
-
SDS, are you ever going to give us the opportunity to play the High A teams? You have the logos. I would like to play AAA/AA/A for a more immersive experience in Franchise.
@SDS_JoeK_PSN thoughts?
-
This would be good adding these teams
-
How 'bout adding rainouts and double-header?
-
@TheBigPapa55_PSN Amen and amen. Been asking for it for years.
@SDS_JoeK_PSN pass that along to the team, please.
-
And rehab assignments. Simple features AND rules that aren't in the game. As the great J. Jonah Jameson once said, "You Serious?"
-
MLB 2K7 had this...
-
@TheBigPapa55_PSN those of us who play Franchise almost exclusively are getting shafted. There are so many things that could be added to Franchise. Like...
1)relocation and realignment. Not just "rebranding" (which needs an overhaul, anyway).
2)Being able to have more than 5 players be injured at a time. And have injuries like TJ or torn ACL/MCL/PCL carry over into the next season.
3)Being able to trade a player for cash considerations or for PTBNL
4)An international draft.
5)NRIs for spring training.
6)opt outs and no trade clauses in contracts
7)retired players able to become managers and coaches. Would love to see, say, Aaron Judge be a manager one day. And give us the ability to create and edit our own.
8)the ability to have player numbers retired (and be able to add them to the stadium in team fonts)
9)an actual HoF ceremony. Or, at least, a plaque. Or, at the least, least, a mention of the players elected to the HoF listed in the teams achievements. (Which used to happen but was taken away for some reason this year.)
10)the ability to edit face scanned players on our own. Players looks change. If EA Sports will let you add facial hair to players in NHL, SDS can give us the ability to do it to.Any more you guys can think of?
@SDS_JoeK_PSN hope you copy and paste that and pass it along to the team.
Stop ignoring the Franchise mode.
-
Brawls, ejections, actual challenge system? I don't play franchise often, I'm a DD guy, but you can't ignore franchise.
-
Another commentary team.
-
@TheBigPapa55_PSN Agreed. Bring back Vasgersian. He was a lot of fun.
As a Mets Homer, I wouldn't mind Gary, Keith, and Ron. They're such a fun listen. Especially Keith Hernandez.
-
LET'S GO METS! They fired Matt because he was "getting too old."
I'd love Gary, Keith and Ron, but it probably won't happen. I can't stand Chris Singleton -
@TheBigPapa55_PSN at least manager/umpire arguments. I remember the old EA Sports MVP Baseball used to have it with a meter that would show you how close the manager was to being ejected.
-
@TheBigPapa55_PSN I would've "liked" that comment. Chris Singleton is a Zilch. And Boog is forced jocularity. But, apparently, you can only "like" a comment from a user only 6 times a day. That's stupid SDS.
-
MLB 2K7 also had that...
-
@TheBigPapa55_PSN I remember the old MVP Baseball used to have the ability to construct a new stadium that you could add to based on how much money you had. And be able to add sections once you had enough to add them.

For the purposes of benefitting both RTTS and Franchise, the high A and low A teams should both be incorporated in full. Not only would it provide the full scope of competitive minor league baseball (the so-called rookie leagues are really developmental games).
I know that some have voiced concern that it would add additional promotion levels in RTTS, but I, like most others, consider that a positive. First, the incorporation of high school, collegiate, and the combines can elevate ones initial player attribute level and therefore make it far more likely that good performance at these other levels would see someone start at AA or certainly high A. That again mimics real life far better than the current system which seems to always default the RTTS player to start at AA regardless of initial attribute level.
-
Putting high and low A would make it more realistic.
