Is it true that 1 prestige level is worth 40k in exp points?

I just read this and need someone to confirm.
Because it that's true you would need to grind the same amount in prestige that you did in bronze 1 to diamond 100.
That's just insane

I wouldn't even think that's a bad thing necessarily. I usually reach diamond 100 relatively fast and after that there's nothing more to gain for the rest of the year.

I wouldn't even think that's a bad thing necessarily. I usually reach diamond 100 relatively fast and after that there's nothing more to gain for the rest of the year.
I am at gold 1 in a few levels and I don't think I want to grind that much to be honest

Would be nice honestly. I have played this game for years, and usually end up maxing XP by end of May. Granted I am not playing as much this year, I still will hit max by end of June I am almost certain. So at least it gives guys that want to play more than just a few months something to grind for.

But it's not really a grind, because you'll level up every time you play so it kinds just happens automatically.

This is great news cause I know I hit Diamond level 100 around June last year and always hating seeing moments and the Sig Teams have huge XP that ment nothing now that XP will be important
