Pitch speed question for everyone

Was playing on All Star difficulty this weekend and fastballs seem to be coming in extra fast. Is this just a skill issue with me not being able to catch up or is this happening to anyone else ?

For me just 1 of the 6 games felt off. The opponent was using John Foster at polo grounds. He throws like 96 I think.
It was more like input lag on my swing tho. Ball didn't look much faster but this was my 6th game in a row and he was prob the slowest pitcher. I was consistently late.... And I felt like my timing and being late didn't make sense. I blame the stadium
