Screw diamond quest and this game this year

Diamond quest and this game in general is comical this year. My perfect perfects are line outs into double plays. My exit velocity is severely decreased and I roll a 1 on the dice 4 rolls in a row that directly countered what I just spent with peanuts. It feels like such a scammy RNG based mode that takes away your hard effort and time you put into it. Hitting the ball perfect won’t do squat for you. CPU defense makes completely ridiculous plays and then suddenly out of nowhere hits multiple back to back bombs off of you dotting 103mph fast up and in. The mode is [censored]. The game this year is a slap in the face to people trying to grind unless you open your wallet. Gameplay is the worse it’s ever been since I started in 21. I’m either losing to complete bs or a series of bloop hits that are at an all time high. Bloop then dinger. Bloop dinger. Repeat. Somehow my best luck has been on GOAT. Legend or hall of fame is a joke

If you really wanna confirm this go back and play 21, 22 or 23 and the difference is alarming. This year’s game looks great but plays awful.

Completely agree. Content I don’t have a problem with other than hiding the best players behind chase packs. The grind this year sucks and most of all the gameplay is incredibly bad. It’s a complete toss up and RNG based game with pinpoint and where the ball is going within the PAR and exit velos. The game decides what’s going to happen and it shouldn’t be that way. If I mount a ball up I should be rewarded. Not given a 82 mph line drive directly to short stop when I had bases loaded. I could go on and on but it’s ridiculous and I refuse to waste my time on diamond quest anymore. I’m a 800-1k online player but don’t even feel like wasting the time with that this year because it infuriates me

This year feels like mlb the casino disguised as a baseball simulator. Between the terrible pack odds and crazy amount of RNG it makes zero sense. Sadly I feel it’s all by design to generate stub sales out of frustration.
Sony wants to maximize profits and I feel like this game will be officially discontinued in the next 2-3 years if it keeps going at this rate.

So that is just happening to you this year? Consider yourself lucky then because people have been complaining about perfect/perfect outs since that feedback system was introduced.
But I will agree that I have little use for Diamond Quest.

Just wasted a hour of time on new threads diamond conquest only lost one moment and had 12 penalties that never went away from rolling 1 every other roll then I get to the end and my probability was 20% for hall of fame difficulty and just to reiterate I only lost one [censored] moment this game is so bugged it’s crazy

They nerfed all the odds in diamond quest because they knew people were farming stubs this way and that negatively impacted stub sales. It’s that simple. They are in full blown monetization mode and only getting worse.

You definitely lost more than 1 moment because there is no way that when you get to the stadium challenges that HOF is 20%
