GM Contract option

I forgot to disable this option when starting my franchise and I'm 2 seasons in now.
Any chance a future patch could allow us to switch this off mid-franchise? It's not a big deal with a big market team, but for a rebuild, it can take longer than the initial 3 year contract and goals they expect from you.
