Inning Bosses Market

I’ve been playing The Show since the beginning (I’m old) and have been playing DD since 2018 and for the most part have a decent grasp on all things The Show. One thing I cannot figure out that is the market for Inning Bosses this year.
I decided that I’d save one pack from each inning to open and sell a boss at a later time. I came close to opening the 1st inning pack this week and selling Beltre for around 65k ish, even bought another Beltre for 48k to sell later, but the prices tanked! I’ve been following the bosses price for over a month and they are wild. Any thoughts as to why?
I don’t take any of this stuff very seriously and just like to have fun and eventually finish the Live Series around July, August (hopefully), but this market for bosses has really got me stumped, lol. Thoughts much appreciated.

The pack bosses are most valuable when you can use them to get vouchers for the following inning and the progress. Now that we’re in 3rd inning, the 1st inning cards lost that value.

I’ll be sure to sell my 2nd inning boss before the 4th inning starts for sure. Lesson learned
