It's funny how SDS announced the Created Stadiums thing before summer started and it's only taken effect in the last couple weeks.

SDS could have created a thread overtly named, "We don't care!" and done far less self-inflicted public relations damage with their customers than this thread has already caused.

This thread was created over six months ago! Over that half year's time, no one at SDS has returned to it to provide any updates. The title of the thread used the words "Temporarily Disabled" and yet again, six months later we are never informed of a fix, much less any update.

The entire life cycle of an MLB The Show release is the span of a single baseball season. From the time conceptualization of the next year's title is started therein is the end of title support for the current year's release. So, we are already at that point now. MLB 25 is no longer receiving software update support.

What does this say about a video game company that they think a bug is so important that it merits a sticky thread to explain the bug and why it caused a game mode to be disabled, and yet six months later there is no update, no additional explanation, and most importantly no correction to the bug? Common sense people conclude that it indicates sloppiness at best, or incompetence, but worst of all it may well represent the truth that SDS harbors outright malice toward their paying customers.

SDS has received numerous requests for update to the status, some right here in this very sticky thread. Not a peep! Customers have started additional threads on the same subject about the status of the use of custom stadiums in online play modes, all ignored. The customers have been forced to guess as to the status, with play options reappearing and then disappearing all without any SDS comment, explanation, or provided timeline.

Even when someone such as myself openly challenges the professionalism of SDS, that comment likewise is ignored. Whistling past the graveyard isn't the formula for corporate success in a free market. SDS has forgotten what customer service looks like.

They should study England during the Age of Enlightenment, when public opinion forced a response to many decisions or statements. Maybe they can take a few notes.

Yeah! The biggest running joke related to MLB The Show 25. This is also clinching truth that SDS simply doesn't care.

If you are going to prevent stadium creator from head-to-head play, reluctantly—fine.

BUT—with the game cycle nearly over, can you at least remove the restriction from using all these parks in Diamond Dynasty when just playing in an “against the computer” mode?

Many of us play in very realistic parks, with the stadiums being prevented simply because we wanted to customize outfield walls with unique looks—and NOT to juice those locales for grinding. (Not to mention that nearing February, who would care if one did such for stats this late in a cycle… if they so choose?)

Great we can use any stadium in Franchise, but greatly dislike that game start times are dictated to us—for many instances we build a park (and the look of when and how it should play) to a certain time of day and year.

If someone can offer how we can change the start time of a Franchise game, I’d love to know, as I can’t figure that out.

Finally, those playing DD regularly: Many would just love to use their stadiums with the players they spent a lot of time and effort to earn. Again, for this additional reason, please stop preventing this in vs. CPU modes.

    Thank you.

And with my above comment, I mean not just the legal stadium creator parks, but even the ones that are varying from the “approved” presets.

Maybe merely ban a park where any of its dimensions violate any realistic standards in terms of wall height or distance, vice a prevention of all being precluded altogether.

SDS creates many red zones already with restrictions. Just do it here as well.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: If you want to keep created stadiums our of H2H modes like ranked...fine, I'm all for that. However, just implement min/max requirements to keep them online eligible for other modes like vs CPU, and Mini-seasons- this way creators can still tweak and adjust their own stadiums to be used in other portions of DD as long as they conform to those min/max requirements.

You misunderstood my comment. I'm referring to stadiums that have any sort of tweaks to the fences. The second you move them a foot in, or a foot higher...it immediately makes them "online ineligible" for any DD mode

My min/max suggestion means that we can still tweak the fences provided they stay within those min/max settings. So nothing shorter than...312 down the lines, and 395 to center. Max could be 355 down the lines, and 440 to center...so as long as your fences stay within 312 and 355, and 395 to 440, you maintain your online eligibility for the other DD modes as well. This would provide the customization the Creator desperately needs, while maintaining the restrictions that would prohibit the nonsense that was Lagrassa
