Update 10
-
Have not tried it yet, but update #10 says it has fixed the issues with the vault making it impossible to download stadiums created in MLB 24 and 23.
-
This update comes out tonight! I’m excited that we are hopefully getting a fix. Shoutout to @SDS_JoeK_PSN for being open and honest in the forums.
-
@SDS_JoeK_PSN now that the most pressing problems have been addressed, is there an update/info to share on the much needed upgrades? Is that the next step in the SC updates?
-
So excited to get my stadiums I have built back for 25. Was dreading the tough of all the hours it took and have to rebuild them!
-
Our darkest hour has passed. My job is done. Here. They know what we want and everything in-between now. Catch yall around.
-
Made tweaks to the timing of batter strides for more realistic gameplay.
What that means and gonna do? -

It It mostly works now; the stadiums display in the vault. However, the names are still incorrect when displaying stadiums, and the game still auto-generates generic stadiums when downloading stadiums from the vault that cannot be deleted.
-
I tested out the post update Stadium Creator this morning. Was able to download successfully two stadiums in My Vault collection. However, the green wall window issue is still acutely bad. If you have a stadium archived from MLB 24 that featured wall windows, odds are certain that you will have to delete most if not all of those windows if you wish to save it in your local slots.
@SDS_JoeK_PSN Joe, now that the patch has fixed the vault issue, can you share any insights into the timeline and status of the aforementioned SC upgrades?
-
@Sarge1387_PSN No updates currently. The team's main focus has been fixing the stuff that needs to be fixed to get things working like they should.
-
@John3221_PSN -- This is related to "tempo hitting", which is where some players are able to use the batter's animation to help them with recognizing what kind of pitch is coming, as well as optimal swing timing.
While this animation is necessary for making the batter's motion as realistic as possible, it was being used as a batting strategy a little more than we liked, so the team made some adjustments.

@SDS_JoeK_PSN While I appreciate the honest reply, this goes to the heart of a critical point I made six weeks ago. The patience I referenced was no so much centered on fixing the vault bug, which was critical to do, but went beyond that to address the now four years' long refusal to upgrade Stadium Creator to the level of performance the customers of this mode have been asking for.
Let me contrast this with one of your rival companies, 2K Sports. They have an excellent track record for facilitating customers to create custom setups in their games. My prime experience here is with the The Golf Club that released years ago with an excellent Course Creator suite that was quite robust. Since then, it has steadily been upgraded. 2K acquired TGC's golf game and released their 2K version just this year.
Let me offer just one profound upgrade. In CC setups like wood retaining walls and other fences had to be laid out piece by piece. This was upgraded for their 2025 title by allowing customers to lay down a string line over any distance the customer desired and then clicking to automatically lay down the fence or retaining wall along that string line.
Along the same line, prior iterations required customers to lay down blocks of trees, shrubs, or grass piece by piece, but this was upgraded by allowing the customer to lay down a section of digital string line that could be a simple line, or circled around in any shape. Once the string line is laid down, a simple click would fill that area, or lay down along the straight line, a section or line of those trees, shrubs, or grass as selected. Also, the density of the objects could be determined.
With this and more, the truth is a customer can create a golf course just as detailed and visually impressive as any that HB Studios and then 2K Sports created by default. In fact, some of these customer created courses were actually included as default courses in future title releases.
If your competition can do it, then frankly so can SDS!
The patience is wearing thin. I don't wish to be overly pushy, but four years of patience in diligently working all the feedback and bug reports, plus using this community forum, means we've more than earned the the right to lay it on.
We were thinking that SDS was working in parallel both the fix to the vault bug as well as the upgrades we've been asking for. To learn now that it seems no work has been done on upgrades is unacceptable. I repeat -- unacceptable.
SDS needs to get on this, or you are going to permanently harm your customer relations with us.
-
@PriorFir4383355_XBL I don’t know where you got the idea they were working on improvements. The guy brought your feedback to the team but the fix was the priority. Just because you assumed doesn’t make them wrong.
-
@PriorFir4383355_XBL -- Dually noted and understood. We appreciate the passion of the Stadium Creator community very much. I'll keep everyone updated on SC related stuff as necessary.
-
@yankblan_PSN yeah I never once got the impression they were working on upgrades or structural fixes beyond the vault functionality.
-
@SDS_JoeK_PSN . Is there some reason why the companion app isn't loading

@SDS_JoeK_PSN With respect, it is not passion. It is a cold, sober comparison with SDS's track record compared to your competitors. I submit that four years of objective and professional feedback likewise proves that. SDS has largely abandoned customer customization options such as SC and uniforms and for every one of us still trying to work with SDS to improve the situation, there are dozens who have grown frustrated and quit SDS already.
SDS is running out of time.
-
@PriorFir4383355_XBL SDS isnt running out of time. This isn't DD. They don't care if they lose people in this feature.

Then they should clearly tell us that and accept us walking away.
-
They don't have to though. They already have our money. Unfortunately, only a small amount of the player base cares about this feature. Running out of time? There's no time. Positive or negative with this mode. Combining this thread with the uniform thread basically tells us that. Uniform creator has never changed, nor will this mode. DD, and updating rosters is their main focus.
-
@PriorFir4383355_XBL and trust me ..I'm with you 100 percent on what needs to change and be fixed. This feature is so disappointing.
