Backwards orders being cancelled by sds

I've read that SDS has said, new to this year, if you place a bunch of buy orders for a card that gets upgraded to a higher qs value, all of your orders under that new quick sell price will be cancelled. Understandable. They can do that, whatever.
The outrageous point being that you don't get your stubbs back.
Is this true? Anyone know anything about this?
