Also remember when drafting that you aren't playing the field so positions don't matter at all. Just get the best hitters. WHen you manage your squad you can put your fastest commons on your bench for the early rounds for pinch runners, greg jones is the best when you roll him.

I always pick the same perks. Anything to do with exit velocity when losing. I will also always pick the players with most power against the final boss.
-
Make sure you have at least one speed guy on the bench. Look at the commons/bronze to sub one in for trash on your bench. Sometimes you get lucky with an over 80 speed who is 64 overall. Then when you need one run sub him in, steal to third and drive him home in anything to the outfield

- exit velo in the 7th;
- exit velo with 2 strikes;
- exit velo when losing;
- exit velo with no one on base;
- exit velo after 3rd straight out.
First 2 mandatory, the other 3 mix and match depending on the scenario to start Showdown. I’ll double the 7th inning one (diamond + gold) from time to time if I pull both.

Sidenote, question: do you really need to play the spring breakout showdown four times to complete the spring breakout collection? Sorry if this was already in another thread.

@markemark_NSW yes

Twice to get the 4 cards, but more storylines release on Friday, you need everything for the NL collection now, but after Friday you will be able to choose what to skip.

Blah blah
-
I also make sure my bench has the highest speed it can, and put them in to run. Stolen bases are easy, plus, there is nothing worse than a double play. I also try to draft high vision, high speed.
-
If anyone else is struggling with this I see these tips being most helpful
DO NOT SWING AT LOW PITCHES
DO NOT SWING AT 1ST PITCH
VISION BOOST IS BEST
SPEED TO STEAL IS KEY
PATIENCE AT BAT PREVAILS
BASERUNNERS > BOMBSlet the st pitch pass you unless it’s a meatball if it’s a strike let the next ball pass too if it’s a ball next pitch is the one you want any guy over 60/40 speed/steal can reach 2nd any guy over 70/50 can get to 3rd always swing normal at only high pitches 90% of low pitches will be popped out vision boost is legit and key.
I’m almost done thx fellas
