Question about Team Affinity

So this thing we are voting for with the next Team Affinity.
Does this mean all the progress we are all making ends in May and we start all over again?
Was I supposed to get 3000 plus hits for the Orioles or Yankees within two months of having the game?
Or is that the team affinity has new add ons to each team journey in May?
Hope to get some answers and not be mocked for asking this cause some of you are just rude.

Team Affinity is a year long program. Honestly, for most teams you aren't even going to get 25% of the way done yet. I'm only there because I go out of my way to use Phillies cards. And because you said you hoped to not be mocked, have this:

I won't mock you. But I'm pretty confident this Team Affinity reveal will make it easier, not harder, to finish by the end of the year.
I'll actually be slightly annoyed if they end up making it TOO easy.

@dbub_PSN Ok Inwas wondering if all progress we have is over and it starts again. Thanks! My goals is to finish at least three. I do not think I play enough or good enough to finish all 30 but was curious to know if we losing progress in May. Thanks again!

It will be a new program,when you click on the team now you get a window with my journey,when color storm releases,there will be 2 windows there and you'll choose which to look at.
