PS4 Dual Shock Controller Interference

Don't know if anyone can help me with this.

But recently my controller has been acting up.

If I try to cycle through the menus, by either using the D-Pad or the Analog stick; I get either a few second delay or it cycles through multiple items fast.

I've also noticed that it I want to select a player, or view a players stats, I have to press down on the X or the Triangle button hard.

It's fully charged and I use if wirelessly.

Could this be some kind of signal interference?

Using it plugged in is not a possibility.

Probably need a new controller. Might have taken one hit too many.
