HOF in Ranked Seasons

Any advice on how to hit 100 mph or high velocity sinkers while on HOF? I know it’s coming and still can’t catch up half of the time. Got all the way up to 741 thinking I was gonna make a strong WS push and then here comes Ohtani throwing bbs.

It’ll be hard to explain in text but I remember McGunski breaking this down in one of his videos
In your head, record/make 2 “beeps” so to speak.
One “beep” or “tick” is when the pitcher releases the pitch
The other “beep” or “tick” is when you should swing with good timing on a fastball or sinker
This will take practice. You’ll have to take a lot of pitches on HOF and above.
The key: get used to how quick those 2 “beeps” or “clicks” are
Then, when you anticipate a fastball/sinker, remember the time in your head between those beeps/clicks. That’s your time between pitch release and hitting X
This helps me when I’m way behind on high velocity fastballs and sinkers. It resets my mental clock
Hope this helps

I’ll have to try that out! I think I’m trying to be too perfect with the pci but I’m not sure. I shelled Clemens once on HOF but since then I’m overmatched.

Of course PCI placement is the other huge piece. Tough to have timing and placement together consistently
Luckily, I’ve yet to face Clemons

Have you tried Custom Practice? Select a pitcher that throws a sinker with Outlier.
Pick just thst pitch and pick the area where you're having trouble and just keep at it until you're constantly making hits.

Using ambush hitting should definitely, use your PCI anchor if he throws it i the same spot. Go into custom practice on LEGEND and go up against someone (I Like to use Pedro because of his pitch mix) and grind hitting that same pitch. If that doesn't work, just try to foul it off and get a different pitch.
