Private League concept
-
Some of you may know that many of us stadium designers have been urging SDS to make some overdue upgrades to Stadium Creator. One of the basic desires we have is to be able to design stadiums to faithfully replicate historic parks from all eras of baseball. This got me to thinking, which can sometimes be dangerous!
Anyway, would there be interest among folks who have private friendly leagues to play a season using historic ballparks with historic custom uniforms? Think of it as playing in parks replicating those from the beginning of professional baseball in America, where games were played in county fairgrounds to those first purpose built baseball venues from the 1920's of which the original Fenway Park and Wrigley Field are all that remain.
If the current limits of SC were removed and we could set up the field layout to match these actual parks, would there be interest? If there would be, then please make that known and as a favor, please include the tag in your replies for the SDS employee who has been interacting with us:
By including this tag, you can help get SDS's attention on what I think is a missing opportunity to increase the appeal of MLB The Show.
Thanks!
